What’s the single best piece of business advice that helped shape who you are as an entrepreneur today, and why?

To never give up! That is the key to being successful. There have been times when I have felt thrown off course and things didn’t go how I wanted, but you just have to keep your eyes on your goals and push forward.

What’s the biggest mistake you ever made in your business, and what did you learn from it that others can learn from too?

I made a mistake early on that was horrible. I didn’t have much money to use to market the business, and I got materials printed out with the wrong information. I was mortified! To think that I wasted my precious dollars on pamphlets with the wrong contact information on it was unbelievably frustrating. I learned to always triple check everything I get printed.

What do you do during the first hour of your business day and why?

I browse the Internet, read articles and research what is going on in the market. It is important to know what is happening in the current news cycles to better your business.

What’s your best financial/cash-flow related tip for entrepreneurs just getting started?

Try to keep your expenses as low as you can. It’s not easy, but if you try to keep your expenses as low as possible, it’s going to help you in every way possible.

Quick: What’s ONE thing you recommend ALL aspiring or current entrepreneurs do right now to take their biz to the next level?

Be willing to take risks. Mind you, they need to be educated risks. When thought out properly, making the right risk can be a game changer. Think it through and take a leap if you really want to be successful.

What’s your definition of success? How will you know when you’ve finally “succeeded” in your business?

My goal since day one has been to go worldwide. I won’t rest until there are GYMGUYZ locations across the globe in every country, offering creative, convenient and customized workouts all over the world.
