10 Israeli Startups With Promising Futures

Whether you’re in the industry or looking to invest, here are the 10 leading Israeli companies to watch.

Each year, more Israeli businesses enter the global startup arena. In a country deemed “The Startup Nation,” there are thousands of startups aiming to grow into global tech companies. I’m one of them as well. I co-founded a company called Mapme (a platform to create smart maps with zero development) that is now based in Herzliya, Israel. I even moved from New York City to Israel in order to become part of this startup nation. As well, more and more major tech companies are buying Israeli startups to tap into the local talent. Facebook, Prosper and Microsoft have all recently acquired Israeli companies to expand their presence here.

As part of this ecosystem, I look out for other up-and-coming companies. The following are a few growing Israeli startups with promising futures ahead.

Fundbox
Founded by Yuval Ariav, Tomer Michaeli and Eyal Shinar, Fundbox is a company that offers business owners a simple way to fix their cash flow by advancing payments for their outstanding invoices. They’re growing rapidly and have already raised over $100 million from well-known investors. The founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos even participated in their latest round.

Dadaviz
Founded in 2014 by Jishai Evers, Ole Filippov, Gilad Manor and León Markovitz, Dadaviz is a website that provides a collection of visually impactful data-visualization displays. They matter because showcasing data visually provides more shareable and compelling content for people who don’t have the patience for words. Dadaviz presents statistical data such as the highest paid athletes or least fuel efficient cars in easy to understand visual presentations.

ZUtA Labs
ZUtA Labs is a mini robotic printer founded by Matan Caspi and Tuvia Elbaum in 2014. The days of the oversized printer have finally ended. ZUtA Labs had it right when it created a pocket-sized device that prints on any size piece of paper. It connects directly to PCs and smartphones and has a rechargeable battery allowing for up to an hour of printing.

Neura
A mobile app connecting users about daily activities and whereabouts, Neura was founded by Ori Shaashua and Gilad Meiri in 2015. The company was founded by Gilad Cohen, Meir Tseistlin and Nadav Cohen in 2015, and focuses on the security issues that are arising as everything becomes cloud-based.
