6 Ways to Inspire Your Team on a Weekly Basis

Providing your team with creative motivation should be an ongoing priority.

Question: What do you do to inspire your team on a weekly basis?

Question: What do you do to inspire your team on a weekly basis?

We Think of Ourselves as a Group

"I can't stress enough the mindset of shifting "I" and "ME" to "US" and "WE." Whenever I discuss any project, proposal or service offering I always, always make sure it's "our team, our work and we were able to..." This one mindset single-handedly changes everything about how we operate. We help one another and continually check in to offer guidance and/or encouragement when necessary."

We Encourage Contribution

"Express appreciation and encourage contribution. At AlignedSigns.com we like to verbally express our thanks and acknowledge the hard work the team does. We know that pay is a necessity, but an upbeat morale goes a long way inspiring aligned vision thinking. We love it when someone has a great idea we can try out and is excited to contribute furthering our unified goals."

We Connect Everyone's Goal to the Bigger Picture

"Every week our leadership explains how individual team members are supporting our biggest and most aggressive goals. We do this by not focusing only on a deliverable, but by showing how that specific item impacts larger initiatives of the entire organization. It creates a tangible connection between day-to-day work and exciting growth opportunities."

We Share Resources With Each Other

"At eFlirt, we help singles date online, so it's highly emotional work. And that's not always easy. Lately, we've been discussing the impact our work with clients has on us as empaths. Each week I've begun sharing an "emo inspo" with my team -- a video, article, or other resource that has inspired me and will help them. It naturally creates discussion and transparency with challenges."

We Offer Performance Bonuses

"When an employee exceeds the performance goal, I offer them free paid time off (PTO). This encourages them to be more efficient and work to finish rather than work to waste time. I value efficiency over the total amount of work spent."
