Question: What has been your proudest moment as an entrepreneur so far?
Receiving a Patent
"My proudest moment was receiving a favorable patent on our proprietary system and method for socially connecting individuals. AlignedSigns.com now has proprietary protection over our unique formula for connecting people. We are the only patented self-discovery and relationship tool using Western Astrology, Chinese Zodiac and Myers-Briggs Personality Assessment to match members."

Watching a Client Succeed
"Every once in a while, I receive a phone call from my clients inviting me to their graduation ceremony or telling me that they have received a scholarship to the college they always wanted. That is extremely rewarding because I know that I have made a difference in at least one person's life."

Talking to Investors or Supporters
"My proudest moments are when I get to talk with a prospective employee or investor and see how excited about our vision and that they want to be a part of the journey. "

Doing Payroll for the First Time
"For several months at my first startup I had worked exclusively with contractors over sporadic hours, which made it difficult to scale the business and provide stability for the people who were helping me grow a brand. Then, after we saved some money in the bank and locked in some retainer clients, I was able to offer salaries and put a few people on payroll: an extremely rewarding milestone."

Watching My Team Succeed
"We've focused on building a strong team that's dedicated to our work and mission. Stepping back and seeing how everyone in our company has progressed as individuals and as a team to operate seamlessly and flawlessly together is unlike anything else. I could not be more proud of the team that I work with and the goals we've achieved together towards our mission and the future of our oceans. "

Seeing a Difference in a Customer's Life
"Occasionally I'll get an email or a phone call from a customer who isn't calling to complain but rather wants to tell me about how our moringa products have helped him/her lead a healthier life. That's the best moment in the world."
